Vars Team: Track & Field Men. Varsity team participation encourages the development of positive values such as sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, confidence, courage, and dedication. It also provides opportunities for positive social growth and development with an efficiency that is difficult, if not impossible, to duplicate in other educational settings. The College fields 21 intercollegiate varsity teams and competes in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Interested students should contact individual coaches for information on practice start dates, practice hours and days, competition dates, and location of meetings and practices. These courses may be repeated for credit.
